For those of you who have never visited Japan, it seems like everywhere you turn, you're provided with a photo opportunity, from the temples, the unusual food, to the bustling markets and traditionally-dressed locals. I was disappointed I didn't spot a genuine geisha but, really, I have nothing to complain about.
My travel lens was (again) the Canon 24-70mm f2.8L. I've found this lens to be perfect for my travelling needs. There was no time during this trip where I'd wished I'd brought a different lens.
The hit and miss ratio with my photography is getting better, I'm happy to say/write. There were only a few shots that didn't turn out for one reason or another.
In the meantime, I'm heading to the UK and Europe in November, so watch this space :-)
